Habitat:
Build large paper nests in trees, shrubs, and occasionally on structures. Colonies grow large by late summer. Common in wooded and suburban areas.

Extremely defensive near nests. Multiple stings are possible. High risk for allergic reactions.

Control Measures:
Professional removal is necessary due to aggression. Never attempt DIY nest removal. Early-season control prevents large colonies.
