Habitat:
Starlings nest in vents, signage, soffits, and building cavities. They gather in large groups on rooftops and parking structures. Common in urban and commercial areas.
Threats & Dangers:
Droppings accumulate quickly and create health hazards. Nesting materials block vents and increase fire risk. Their aggressive behavior displaces other birds.
Control Measures:
Exclusion and vent protection are essential. Professional bird deterrents prevent re-entry. Ongoing monitoring is recommended.
