Habitat:
This species lives outdoors in woodpiles, tree bark, and leaf litter. They may accidentally enter homes, especially in wooded areas. They do not establish indoor infestations.
Threats & Dangers:
They are not considered a structural pest. Indoor sightings are accidental and short-lived. They pose minimal health risk.
Control Measures:
Exclusion and exterior treatments are sufficient. Sealing gaps and reducing wood debris near structures prevents entry. Indoor treatment is rarely needed.
